How to Search the Chandler Court Docket
The caption tells you where to go. If the paper names Chandler Municipal Court, the city system holds that case. If it names JP Precinct 3, the county precinct does instead. Both offices sit in Chandler, yet they run separate case files, forms, numbers, and addresses. Matching the wrong one wastes your search.
- Read the court, citation or case number, name, and response date.
- Open the official Chandler Tyler search for a municipal case.
- Choose the least sensitive field set that can identify the record.
- Compare the result with the paper and note the current Chandler status and date.
- Call 903-849-6853 when the record is absent or an option needs approval.
A hit on a docket search is not legal proof. When you need something official, such as a signed order or a certified disposition, request that item straight from the Chandler clerk.
Chandler Tyler Search Fields
The Chandler portal gives you six ways to search. You can use a citation number and DOB. A license with state and DOB also works. So do an SSN with DOB, a vehicle plate and state, a first and last name with DOB, or a business name. The screen also carries Search and Sign In/Register controls. What it lacks is any export feature, document download, or published layout for results.
| Search mode | Fields | Practical use |
|---|---|---|
| Citation | Number and DOB | Use the paper |
| License | License, state, DOB | State narrows identity |
| SSN | SSN and DOB | Avoid unless required |
| Vehicle | Plate and state | For linked vehicle data |
| Name | First, last, DOB | Match court spelling |
| Business | Business name | For an entity |
Never save or share a screen that shows a full SSN or birth date. The citation-number route generally exposes far less sensitive data, so prefer it when you can.
The Chandler Municipal Court
Chandler Municipal Court handles city ordinance, traffic, and Class C matters within its limited jurisdiction. Judge Susan V. Ashley presides, per the official city page. That same page links payments, the driving-safety course, deferred disposition, dismissible citations, juvenile-offender material, attendance rules, and payment plans.

Chandler, TX 75758

Fax: 903-849-4663
Mail: PO Box 425
The posted office hours run Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Check them before driving over. For anything about a city docket, a copy, a fee, or an option, the municipal clerk is the direct contact.
Chandler Portal Fee Warning
One warning on the Tyler portal is city-specific. It says you cannot pay driving-safety-course or deferred-disposition fees online. Instead, the Chandler court tells people to call 903-849-6853, option 2. Paying some other amount through the portal never applies for, approves, or completes either program. The official Chandler search page shows the search panels along with the program-fee warning:
That warning belongs to the Chandler workflow alone. It does not apply to Athens, Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Malakoff, or the county JP courts, so do not carry it over.
Chandler Court Dates and Settings
The due date printed on a Chandler citation is your first deadline. It is not always the trial date. Later docket entries can show appearance, pretrial, trial, proof, deferred, course, juvenile, or compliance events. A reset sometimes leaves the old date sitting in the history. Trust the newest notice, and sort out any conflict with the clerk.
| Date | The response date or latest Chandler setting. |
|---|---|
| Time | The stated start time, checked before attendance. |
| Location | 811 Hwy 31 E for the municipal office unless instructed otherwise. |
| Judge | The officer assigned to that Chandler municipal event. |
| Setting Type | Appearance, pretrial, trial, proof, program, or compliance. |
If no setting shows up online, the printed deadline still binds you. Call the Chandler court, and write down the staff member's name, the date, and the instruction you received.
Chandler Payment Plans
Chandler publishes unusually detailed payment-plan terms. The application covers a thirty-day plan and asks for a copy of your driver's license. Its materials describe a guilty or no-contest plea and require an original signed filing. Any longer plan needs approval from the judge.
Late-plan warning: Chandler states a $25 late charge and warrant consequences; a warrant case remains unresolved until fully paid under the published terms.
Never assume a partial web payment lifts a warrant or changes your signed plan. Ask the Chandler clerk about the exact docket status instead. Keep the approved application, your receipts, and any judge-approved extension in one place.
Chandler Traffic Tickets
When Chandler Municipal Court is named on the citation, that city court owns the case. Search by citation number and DOB whenever you can. Other identity routes help when the paper is gone, though they expose more private data. Confirm the alleged violation, your plea, the response date, and the current setting. Payment alone can record a plea and disposition. Contesting a ticket takes the court's accepted response and a later setting. A course or deferred path needs separate court handling. It cannot be reduced to an online fee. For the wider court split, see Henderson County traffic court records. A receipt is not the whole Chandler docket. Check that every later condition and final entry has posted before you consider it done.
Chandler Program Choices
The city page links a driver-safety course, deferred disposition, dismissible citations, juvenile procedures, and payment plans. Each route carries its own rules. A link's existence does not make you eligible in a specific Chandler case, so ask before paying or submitting proof.
- Deferred disposition
- A court-approved period with conditions before the final result.
- Dismissible citation
- A charge for which timely proof and a fee may support dismissal under the court's rules.
- Driver-safety course
- A court-authorized option with eligibility, payment, and completion duties.
- Payment plan
- A signed Chandler arrangement governed by its stated dates and terms.
Keep every Chandler order and proof document, and recheck the docket once your program is complete.
Where Chandler Cases End Up
City ordinance and fine-only matters stay in Municipal Court unless an appeal or a separate legal action moves them. JP3 matters remain with the precinct. County civil, family, felony, misdemeanor, and probate cases go to the proper Henderson County court and clerk.
Docket flow: Chandler Municipal Court › Henderson County Courts › District Court
Think of this as a jurisdiction ladder, not an automatic transfer. For any permitted appeal, ask the Chandler clerk about the receiving court and the new cause number. For the county-level search route, the Henderson County court docket has it.
Chandler Court Versus JP3
JP Precinct 3 sits at 460 S Broad Street in Chandler and answers at 903-849-2222. Chandler Municipal Court sits at 811 Hwy 31 E and answers at 903-849-6853. Whichever court issued the citation decides your route, and the two clerks keep separate dockets.
| Clue | Chandler court | JP3 |
|---|---|---|
| Caption | Chandler Municipal Court | Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 |
| Address | 811 Hwy 31 E | 460 S Broad |
| Phone | 903-849-6853 | 903-849-2222 |
| Forms | City procedures | County precinct forms |
Never use one court's payment path merely because both offices are in Chandler.
Chandler Late Plan Steps
A late Chandler installment calls for two quick moves. Pull out the signed plan and call the court. Have the citation number ready. Also gather the missed due date, what you have paid so far, and any warrant notice you received. An online balance alone proves nothing about the warrant. Treat it as a hint rather than an answer.
The city's published terms draw one hard line: longer plans need judge approval. Ask whether a formal request with an original signature is required. Keep proof that you delivered it. A phone call can sort out the process, but the filed Chandler order is what controls in the end.
Chandler's 2020 population was 3,275. That number explains page ranking only. It does not measure the size of the municipal docket or how fast the court works.
Chandler Copy and Fee Sources
Program fees, court costs, fines, vendor charges, and copy fees are all separate items. A Henderson County civil-copy schedule tells you nothing about a Chandler citation amount. Get a current quote from the city clerk. Ask whether plain or certified copies can come by mail, email, or pickup.
When you order, give the Chandler citation number, your full name, and an approximate date. State the exact document you need. A certified disposition carries real weight as proof of the court outcome. A payment receipt or a search screen does not. Ask the clerk when the copy will be ready. Do not guess at a turnaround time.
Public Access to Chandler Court Records
Start with the Chandler portal, then fall back on phone, mail, or counter access when the result looks thin or you need certification. Sealed, juvenile, expunged, protected, and identifier-heavy content may be hidden or partly redacted. A record that does not turn up could reflect a restriction, or simply the wrong court.
Key rules:
Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 provides the judicial-record access framework.
Texas Public Information Act applies to much government information, but adjudicative files do not automatically use the standard PIA route.
Texas Family Code Chapter 58 limits juvenile-record access.
Ask for the lawful public version of the file. When you need the formal court record, rely on the Chandler clerk's certified copy.
Chandler Missing Case Steps
When a Chandler court docket search comes up empty, one of a few things is usually going on. The citation may not have posted yet. The name may be spelled differently. The wrong search mode may have been used. Or the paperwork may belong to JP3 rather than the city court. Check the court caption first. Then widen the query by citation number or by the exact name as printed.
If the case still will not appear, call the Chandler municipal line. Have the citation number, issue date, response date, and issuing agency ready. Ask the clerk whether the case is active. Ask whether a setting exists, and whether the deadline still stands. Never send an online payment just to test whether the account is recognized.
Protected and juvenile matters show less detail in a public docket search. The Chandler clerk can tell you whether a lawful redacted record can be released. For an official result, order a certified disposition with a current fee quote. Do not rely on what a search page shows.
Chandler Court Docket Payment Review
Before paying a Chandler citation, set the portal account beside the paper. Confirm the city court, the citation number, your name, the alleged violation, the due date, the balance, and the plea effect. A payment button does one thing: it moves money. It does not approve a driver-safety course. It does not grant deferred disposition, accept dismissal proof, or change a signed plan.
Chandler's own warning makes the split concrete. Course and deferred fees cannot be paid online. For those programs, contact option 2 at the municipal number. If a plan is involved, reread the signed thirty-day application, the license-copy requirement, the due dates, and any judge-approved extension. Assume nothing: a partial online payment lifts no warrant and cures no late plan.
Once you pay, keep the receipt and recheck the court docket. Watch for the later entry. It shows whether the case is still pending, sitting under a program, or disposed. Ask the clerk for the exact record that proves status. A balance screen is not a certified disposition.
The record might belong to JP3 instead. That precinct keeps its own address, number, forms, and docket. Read the issuing-court line before sending money. Paying the wrong office does not satisfy the Chandler municipal deadline.
Chandler Court Record Follow-Up
Program cases deserve one final Chandler docket check. When a course, deferred term, proof submission, or payment plan ends, contact the city clerk. Ask whether every document and payment posted. A certificate mailed by a provider, or a receipt you hold, does not prove the court accepted anything.
If you need formal proof of the outcome, request the Chandler order or a certified disposition. Give the citation number, the case name, the program type, and the completion date. Ask about the current copy fee and the delivery time. Then keep the clerk's response with your signed plan and receipts. That way the whole record can be traced.
