How to Search the Mabank Court Docket
Read the caption first. A citation naming Mabank Municipal Court belongs in the city portal. If the paper names JP Precinct 2, that county precinct owns it, even though JP2 uses a Mabank mailing address. District, county, and probate cases run through the Henderson County system instead.
- Read the issuing court, citation number, name, and response date.
- Open the official Mabank court search.
- Select the least sensitive search mode that can identify the Mabank case.
- Compare the result with the paper and record the current status and setting.
- If no match appears, call 903-887-2329 or contact the Mabank clerk by mail or in person.
Treat any result as a lead, not a certified outcome. When the precise result matters, ask the municipal clerk for an official copy.
Mabank Tyler Portal Search Modes
The Mabank Tyler portal offers six identity routes for a docket search. That level of detail is unusually specific to this one city court. Other Henderson County city courts may not match it. Field requirements are not marked clearly. So expect some trial and error with the modes.
| Mode | Fields | Use note |
|---|---|---|
| Citation | Citation number and DOB | Best when the paper is available |
| License | License, state, DOB | State is an identity filter |
| Social Security | SSN and DOB | Avoid unless necessary |
| Vehicle | Plate and state | Use the issuing state |
| Name | First, last, DOB | Match the court spelling |
| Business | Business name | For named entities |
The interface also carries Search and Sign In/Register controls. Signing in is not automatically part of a public Mabank search, so try Search first.
The Mabank Municipal Court
Mabank Municipal Court handles the city's municipal cases, citation records, settings, payments, and dispositions. Judge Mike Groom presides, and clerk Irlanda Gasca staffs the office. Visit at 127 E Market Street, Mabank, TX 75147. Mail should go to PO Box 293, Mabank, TX 75147.

Hours run 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Call before you travel. The court phone and email work well for a missing result, a copy request, or a status question.
Mabank Search Privacy
The portal can search by birth date, Social Security number, license number, or plate. Use the least sensitive fields that get the job done. Never capture or share a screen with a full DOB or SSN on it. A field exists, but that does not mean you should fill it in. Use it only when a citation number is available. The official search screen displays all six modes.
That screen is only a search interface, not the underlying Mabank court order. Note just what you need to call the clerk and verify the case.
Mabank Court Dates and Settings
The response date on a Mabank citation is the first deadline. It may not be the final trial date. Once a plea or request is filed, the court can schedule a hearing, trial, compliance event, or another appearance. Old dates can linger in a chronological docket after a reset. So trust the latest notice plus clerk confirmation.
| Date | The Mabank response deadline or current later setting. |
|---|---|
| Time | The stated start time, confirmed before attendance. |
| Court | Mabank Municipal Court when the citation names the city. |
| Case ID | The displayed citation or case number, with no universal format inferred. |
| Setting Type | Appearance, pretrial, trial, proof, or compliance event. |
If the Mabank portal shows no setting, work from the paper and call the clerk. A missing result does not extend the response date.
Mabank Search Results Need Checks
There is no fixed Mabank result layout, so read each entry carefully. Check it for the citation or case number. Check the party name, the alleged violation, the court, the status, the date, and any disposition. One field that conflicts with the paper is a reason to pause. Ask the clerk before going further.
- Pending
- The Mabank case has not been marked with a final outcome.
- Setting
- A scheduled court event, which is not always a trial.
- Disposition
- The result entered by the court and read with the order.
- Certified copy
- A clerk-certified Mabank document, not a portal screenshot.
Save your query date and case identifier. Search data can change, and the clerk's certified record remains the formal source.
Mabank Traffic Tickets
A traffic citation naming Mabank Municipal Court stays in the city record system. Search it by citation number and DOB when possible. Other modes work if the paper is missing, though they trade more personal data. Confirm the response date, plea status, and any later setting. Paying is not the same as contesting. Ask what plea and outcome a payment will record before you submit it. To contest, follow the Mabank court's permitted response and get the next date. For the city-versus-JP split, see Henderson County traffic court records. Keep every receipt. A payment record is not the whole Mabank docket. It is not a certified disposition either.
Mabank Search and Payment Differ
The Tyler search identifies a municipal case. A payment function sends money on a selected account. Neither one grants deferred disposition, approves a course, accepts proof, or resolves a disputed charge. Ask the Mabank court what an online payment means before you complete it.
Key distinction: Search first, verify the Mabank case and plea effect, then use only the payment route the clerk confirms for that citation.
Keep the citation number and payment confirmation. Afterward, check whether the Mabank docket shows a final entry. If an option carries conditions, hold your proof until the clerk confirms completion.
Where Mabank Cases End Up
City ordinance and fine-only municipal cases stay with Mabank Municipal Court. An appeal or separate action can move them. County civil, felony, misdemeanor, family, probate, and JP matters sit with their own custodians. The city name on an event does not by itself establish municipal jurisdiction. Ask the municipal clerk about any appeal and its new cause number.
Docket flow: Mabank Municipal Court › Henderson County Courts › District Court
The Henderson County court docket maps county Odyssey categories one level deeper. This is a court-level map, though, not a claim that every Mabank case moves upward.
Mabank Court Versus JP2
JP2 holds court at 422 E Cedar Creek Parkway, Suite C, in Seven Points. Its mailing address is a PO Box 1129 in Mabank, which confuses plenty of people. A shared zip does not merge two dockets, though. JP2 answers its own line at 903-432-4334. Mabank Municipal Court keeps a separate address and number for its city cases.
| Clue | Mabank court | JP2 |
|---|---|---|
| Court named | Mabank Municipal Court | Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 |
| Counter | 127 E Market | Seven Points |
| Phone | 903-887-2329 | 903-432-4334 |
| Record | City docket | County precinct docket |
The citation caption, address, and case number decide which clerk to contact.
Mabank Portal Fallback Routes
When the portal lets you down, go around it. Call the Mabank office during its published hours. Mail a request to PO Box 293, or walk into 127 E Market. Give the clerk the name, the citation number, an approximate date, and the exact record you need. Fees and turnaround are not set on a single citywide schedule. Ask the clerk for current copy charges while you are at it. For any restricted file, request the public redacted version. Say up front when you need a certified disposition. The clerk can pull apart an event index, a payment receipt, an order, and a final outcome. Those are four different things. Worth knowing: the 2020 Census put Mabank at 4,050 residents. That number explains its spot among Henderson County's five profiled cities. It says nothing about court volume or wait times.
Mabank Court Record Custody
A Mabank court file and a Texas driver record are two different animals. Mabank holds the citation, the plea, the settings, the orders, the payment, and the disposition. The Texas Department of Public Safety keeps the state driver file. Neither agency's certified product substitutes for the other's. A city portal result stands in for neither. When you need the official court outcome, ask Mabank directly for a certified disposition. Use the proper state route for the driver file. Hang onto the city citation number too. Reporting systems use different identifiers and update on different schedules.
Public Access to Mabank Court Records
Access to Mabank court records starts with the clerk who holds them. Search online, call, mail, or visit, whichever fits the request. Sealed, juvenile, expunged, and protected content may be hidden or redacted, so a missing result never proves a case does not exist.
Key rules:
Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 provides the judicial-record access framework.
Texas Public Information Act covers much government information, but adjudicative files do not default to an ordinary PIA request.
Texas Family Code Chapter 58 restricts juvenile records.
Ask for the lawful public version of any record and the cited basis for any denial. When the official record matters, request a clerk-certified copy from Mabank.
Mabank State Filter Meaning
The state dropdown in a Mabank license or plate search works as an identity filter. It separates a Texas license from the same sequence issued by another state. It decides nothing about which court owns the citation. Before searching the city portal, confirm the paper actually names Mabank Municipal Court. Pick the issuing state exactly as it appears on the license or plate. Then compare the returned name, citation, charge, and status against your paperwork. If the portal offers more than one possible record, resist guessing. Call the Mabank clerk and share only the least sensitive facts needed to tell them apart. Write down the citation number and the date you searched. Then pursue the underlying order or certified disposition from the court. Do not treat a screen as the whole file.
Mabank Court Docket Result Review
When the portal returns a possible Mabank court record, put it beside the citation. Check the number and the name spelling. Check the alleged violation and the court. Then check the response date, the status, and any listed disposition. Every result will not display every field or link to the underlying document. Do not assume otherwise. A status word needs context. Pending generally means no final result is recorded. Disposed means an outcome exists, but only the order says which outcome and when it took effect. A payment entry proves a transaction and nothing more. It may not show whether the Mabank court accepted proof or completed deferred terms. It may not show a final disposition either. Save the citation number and search date. Skip a screen loaded with DOB or SSN data. If two results look alike, call 903-887-2329 and offer the least sensitive facts that separate them. For a certified record, name the exact order or disposition. Ask the current fee and delivery options too. One more trap: a JP2 result is not a Mabank Municipal Court docket. The Seven Points precinct runs its own system even though its mailing address says Mabank. Go back to the court caption and call the clerk named there.
Mabank Court Record Search Notes
Keep a brief log of each Mabank search. Note the portal mode, the date, the citation number, and whether a setting or disposition appeared. Leave sensitive identity fields out of it. If the online status shifts later, that log shows the Mabank clerk exactly what was visible and which official court document to request next.
